Celebrating Successful Outcomes
Our hospital rewards employees who excel in their daily work. HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona takes pride in its employees. We hold regular appreciation programs for our staff. They include monthly employee thank you luncheons for all shifts/offsite clinics, quarterly recognition of our Outstanding Employee of the Quarter, yearly recognition luncheon for our tenured staff (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 year employees), yearly recognition luncheon for our volunteers, and recognition receptions for new CRRN®s and employees who have advanced in the clinical or nursing career ladder.
In addition, we have an employee recognition wall wherein we post employee achievements, personal or professional. We also post achievements of employee’s children or family members and hold special “thank you” luncheons when the hospital wins a significant award or recognition.
We also take the time to celebrate the individual disciplines and their contributions to our success. Each department recognizes their employees during their yearly recognition day/month/year. We try to ensure that all departments/disciplines are recognized on a regular basis.
